Conf-2014-CT

Conf-2014-PE

God, who delights to do exceedingly abundantly above all we ask or think, allowed AMEN to spread her wings to Port Elizabeth (PE) in 2014. We were blessed to host a conference there for the first time from Friday the 5th to Sunday the 7th of December at Kabega SDA church.

Our guest speaker was Pastor Wes Peppers whose messages were drenched with the ethos of Matt 24:14; 28:19-20. We had two breakout sessions: Last Day Events – Pastor Wes Peppers, Relationships – Tammy and Jonathan Edwards. The conference program also included door-to-door evangelism in the community of the Kabega church – which bore many testimonies of God’s eagerness to help us reach every nation, tongue and people. The Youth were inspired, motivated and changed – all of which we can only thank God for!

The 4th AMEN conference in Cape Town began on Friday the 12th of December and ran until Monday the 15th of December at CPUT, Cape Town. This was a special conference; we learnt a lot and where were led to focus on the great commission that we are called to once again.

Our speakers included Alan and Nicole Parker who presented a breakout session about Relationships, Chantell Horn – Health, Kurt Campher – Evangelism, Beryl and Joe Nyamwange – Cooking, Lenrick and Aindrea Boesack – Music. Other speakers who presented during plenary sessions included: Pastor Patrick Stander, Mandla Mlotshwa, Leon Hendricks and Justin Hendricks.

Our main speaker – Alan Parker – presented Godly heartfelt messages with the over-arching theme of “Finishing the work”. All who were present will surely never forget him excitedly relaying the story of one preacher who was very passionate about the resurrection of Jesus (“It was Friiiidaaaay…but Suuunnday was comin!”). And what an exciting reality it is! What wondrous love is this, O my soul! It is this amazing love of God that drives us to spread the Good News of the life, death, resurrection and soon coming return of our Lord Jesus!

Therefore with evangelism as integral pillar of our purpose, it was an integral part of the program at the 2014 conference too. As in 2013, the early morning train ministry was part of the program. Attendees were on fire for God once again and took to the train carriages with a zeal inspired by the Holy Spirit.

On the last day of the conference we were blessed with the privilege of participating in outreach at District 6 in Cape Town. We walked there together with united hearts and uniform t-shirts on that bore the name of the ministry and our purpose – Advent Message to Every Nation.

In His wisdom, God often stretches our faith muscles further than we know they can go when planning for the conferences, and although we often cannot see the end from the beginning we know and trust the One who does. He has never let us down.

We do not know all that God has in store for conference 2015 and we ask you to join us in prayer as it is only 6 months away! And if you would like to get involved, please contact us at info@amen-missions.co.za

God bless friends,
